Grace & Hope

I wanted to thank everyone who has bought a cookbook, but in December especially. We dedicated 10% of December sales to go to Grace and Hope (an organization that sets up and finaces foster care programs in China for orphans so they will be cared for by a family while they wait for adoption instead of being in an orphanage). Mike and I currently sponsor a foster child in China named Heather. It's so wonderful to know you are directly helping a certain child! Anyway, our sales were great in December and we donated $100 to Grace & Hope.

We have also ordered a second printing of our books because of their huge success! I never dreamed they would be so successful. We've gotten wonderful feedback about our cookbooks and have an entire second batch of books available! And remember, it's a great present for a bridal shower or Mother's Day, especially paired with a few other kitchen or menu items!

Wow, our cookbooks are a huge success! We are selling them so quickly that we have decided place another order to the publishing company. So many people have bought one or two and have come back and bought 5 to 10 for Christmas presents! So keep your neighbor, tennis partner, mother-in-law, etc in mind when you place your order - where else can you get such a great $15 present!

Our cookbooks are here! - I'm so excited! It's been a lot of work but we created a great product. Thank you to over 150 people who contributed their very best yummies - 400 recipes! The categories include appetizers, soups and salads, breads and rolls, main dishes (which include breakfast items, seafood, chicken, beef, pork and even some vegetarian goodies), side dishes and desserts/cookies/candies. We have also includes some information on our agency, Chinese Children Adoption International, and Grace and Hope for the Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the care of China's orphans.

Now the fun part - selling them! They are $15 each plus shipping. They make great Christmas, house warming and Bridal shower presents!
